Now that you have your ebook organized and the framework in
place. You are ready to run (write) and keep running until the
finish line. Here’s where the faint-hearted are separated
from the strong. Many of my non-writer clients ask, “How
do I get started and keep going?” Here are a few tips
that will get you started and completed in record time.
Write On Target.
Successful writers write on course, on target, on purpose.
However you want to express that, they set a goal, and then
they navigate to the end. They find out what the hottest desire
or the greatest need of their market is and fill it with their
book.
You must know they have obstacles, setbacks, throwbacks to
stop them. But they don’t quit, they keep pressing and
persevering until they complete. Think about what the highest
demand (need) your ebook will fill, write it as your thesis
statement. Write it as your goal, set course and start.
Write with Focus.
The biggest blockade for any book writer is lack of focus.
You set yourself up for failure if you use the hit and miss
approach. You setup your e-Book’s framework in an earlier
right? Now transform those sections or table of contents into
steps. Make sure your steps flow logically. When I begun work
on the book How to Write Your Best Book Now, I started with
a list of topics. The lists of topics were:
• Why Write a Book,
• The Importance of Titles,
• The Marketing Plan,
• How to Write Fast,
• How to Organize Your Book and
• The Back End of Your Book
Later, I developed that list of topics into a table of contents
with 7 steps clearly defined. It crystallized into a 7 step
book writing program. The 7 step program to profit from your
passion now looks like this:
• Design passion points to sell more books,
• Map Your Journey with a Plan,
• Sizzle Your Title & Win More Sales,
• Mine the Gold Called Your Knowledge,
• Build a successful house for each chapter,
• Easy Steps to Speed Writing and
• Create a Winning Streak with Your Book.
Your audience will reward you by buying your book filled with
easy to read step by step instructions to achieve their goal.
Now, go ahead focus and transform your list of topics into steps,
ways, or solutions to solve your market’s worst problem.
Write the Question and Answer.
Now that you have your steps, use the easiest format. It’s
the format the pros use. Take your table of contents (now your
steps) and list a set of questions for each step. All the questions
are designed to help your audience achieve their goal or solve
their problem.
The easiest place to look for questions is to think about the
questions your clients and customers are currently asking. You
know the ones you answer almost every day. Now during your scheduled
time to write, answer a set of at least three questions per
session. Each day you will answer a few questions and before
you know it your book will be finished.
Implement these simple tips to speed write your ebook to completion.
Then price it, package it well, and release to the world to
sell your very own e-book like you never dreamed.
